Respecting your information.
Argyll HomeCare Limited (company number SC275774) is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. Our registered office is The Attic, Manse Brae, Lochgilphead, Argyll, Scotland, PA31 8RA.
This website does not currently contain an online enquiry form, analytics or advertising trackers. If you contact us by telephone or email, we will use the information you choose to provide to respond to your enquiry and manage any follow-up that is needed.
Information you provide may include your name and contact details and anything you choose to tell us about your enquiry. A care enquiry may include information about health, care or day-to-day circumstances. A recruitment enquiry may include information about employment, qualifications or experience. Information may also be provided by a relative or health or social care professional contacting us on someone else's behalf.
For general enquiries, our usual lawful basis is legitimate interests: it is necessary for us to respond to people who contact us and to operate the service. Where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, we may rely on that basis. We may also process information where necessary to meet a legal obligation. If health or other special category information is provided, we will only use it where necessary and where an additional condition under data protection law applies, including where necessary for the provision or management of health or social care.
How information is handled

Information is kept only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet legal, regulatory and business requirements. If an enquiry develops into a care, employment or other formal relationship, the relevant records are then managed under the retention requirements that apply to those records.
We do not routinely transfer enquiry information outside the UK. If a supplier used by us involves an international transfer, appropriate safeguards required by UK data protection law will be used.
There is no automated decision-making or profiling through this website.
